On My Needles...

I haven't posted any knitting projects lately, so I thought I would share a few things that I am working on now. (There are many more, but we will save them for another time!)

This is the sock I am working on with my students in my Beginning Sock Knitting class at Fuzzy Wuzzy. I have two students this time, and if they do their homework, they will have a finished sock after next Wednesdays class. I'm using a Crazy Zauberball by Schoppel Wolle in my favorite colors. I like the way the colors melt into each other.

Fuzzy Wuzzy is having a knit-a-long sponsored by Classic Elite yarns. This is the project I'm working on. I'm using Classic Silk which is a silk and cotton yarn. The yarn is really soft and will make a great summer top.

The last project for today is also a sweater using Berroco Lustra. Our Tuesday night knitting group decided to knit the February Lady Sweater (we started in February). Progress has been a little slow due to a mistake in counting that needed to be ripped back several rows and samples that need to be made for two knitting classes. In the middle of all that my friend Julie and I decided that since we had knit this sweater before we would modify it a bit. We decided to change the lace pattern to a cable and lace one and are working out the pattern changes. I'll keep you posted on our progress.

Thanks for stopping by.

May Cricut Class

Happy Spring! Here are the cards for the May Cricut Class at Craft Fancy.

Our first card is from the Accent Essentials and DoodleType cartridges. Inspiration for this card came from a quilt block I saw on Pinterest.

This Happy Birthday card is for. The Bloom cartridge.

The Nifty Fifties cartridge brings us this flamingo card. The green shape is from the Bloom Cartridge.

Our Thank You card is from the Graphically Speaking cartridge.

Our final card is from the Creative Cards cartridge.

There is only one class this month - Friday, May 10 - 10:30 am - 12:30 pm. Call Craft Fancy to sign up or to reserve a kit if you can't make it to class.
