Socks

Melissa joined a sock knitting club that is based on the Twilight books by Stephenie Meyer. Every couple of months she will get hand dyed yarn and a sock pattern. 

These are the socks from the first pattern. They are the Bella and Edward socks. The yarn is such a pretty shade of subtly variegated red. I can't believe how fast she knit up these socks. I think it took her about two weeks to finish them. They are so soft and pretty and she loves them dearly.

Here is my latest project. A coffee cup cozy for Melissa. I used some left over yarn that she had. She had to go get coffee this morning so that she could use it.
